Let’s celebrate International Biodiversity Day

Ecosystem conservation is one of the funding themes of Fondation Tany Meva. With its partners including CEPF, emblematic and endangered species such as dugongs and baobabs are better protected. In Madagascar, communities depend heavily on natural resources to survive. to reduce pressures on biodiversity, Fondation Tany Meva supports integrated projects by trying to find a balance between conservation strategies and improvement of community living conditions. These projects aim to sustain alternative sources of income (professionalization of promising sectors, tourism, crafts, etc.) and the construction of development infrastructures (hydro-agricultural dam, renewable energies, schools, etc.)
